Construction: Hand-made traditional cabinetry, made in this case from seasoned, American black walnut with a distinctive strong grain, sourced from managed forests. Alternatively you could choose oak, maple or beech instead. The cabinets are hand-made, so our custom designs can work for any size, to suit any shape. In this kitchen the timeless shaker design has been given an up-to-date twist by using large styles and rails, further enhanced with the modern layout and cornicing and use of contemporary features like spindle doors, drawer pull-outs and baskets.

Worktops: Forming a rich, warm combination with the dark walnut, worktops and full height splash backs are in African black granite, cut out for the under-mounted sink and featuring double drainer grooves.

Appliances: Stunning against the walnut and black is the Falcon stainless steel range cooker with Miele extractor and a Perrin & Rowe Oberon twin-lever monobloc tap and rinse. And making full use of available space, the kitchen incorporates a Miele integrated microwave and dishwasher.

Flooring: Honed and filled, natural travertine floor.
