The Chiltern
---

Construction: Hand-made traditional cabinetry, made from seasoned tulip wood sustainably sourced from managed forests. And because the cabinets are hand-made, our custom designs can work for any size, to suit any shape. In this kitchen, doors and cabinet sides use a traditional West Country design of tongue and grooved, beaded panels and a bespoke sweeping arch top rail - a design feature sensitively extended throughout the kitchen. Doors hang from high quality brass butt hinges, and can carry a choice of handles.

Finish: This kitchen has been hand-painted on site in ivory matt wood paint for a traditional, flat effect - but could be any colour of your choice or, indeed, you could choose the beauty of real wood selected from our range of solid timbers, including oak, maple, walnut and beech.

Worktops: The ivory kitchen is complemented by magic black, high gloss, Italian polished granite worktops, cut to suit the inset Belfast sink and the large central island, with walls protected by a matching granite up-stand.

Appliances: The cream Aga is the centrepiece here, with a Miele refrigerator, larder and dishwasher integrated within purpose-built cabinetry. Finally there is a Villeroy & Boch double Belfast sink with a Perrin & Rowe Oberon twin-lever monobloc tap and rinse.

Finishing touches: Wall tiles over the Aga are hand-made by a local ceramic artist, and the work areas benefit from extra under-cupboard lighting using modern energy-efficient mini fluorescents.

Flooring: Italian travertine-finish porcelain tiles.
